How to Create FTP Account
HOW TO CREATE FTP ACCOUNT
FTP account purpose is to manage and upload files on your website
- Login to the cPanel, using the URL to the cPanel i.e. yourdomainname.co.ke/cPanel, then enter the cPanel login details to access the cPanel
- On the cPanel search for “FTP account”
- Onto a new window, fill in the entries required, therefore on the directory field specify the directory which you want the user to access. As well as on the Quota you specify the amount of bandwidth the FTP user will use. Click create FTP account
